Evaluation Specialist

Founded in 2015, Instill Education is a For-Profit, Start-Up education company in the early stages of launching a private teacher trainer university. While the entity is a pragmatic response to the severe teacher shortage in South Africa, the intent is to transform the African classroom by reaching every educator on the continent through a range of delivery models. Led by a former McKinsey executive, the company, based in Johannesburg, is bringing together the country's top educators and leaders in business to meaningfully impact South African education.

This tool is used during the needs assessment portion of program design, prior to any intervention. By examining both teacher and learner behavior, Instill education can discern the best course of action for their professional development work with school faculty.

This tool is used during initial observations of each participating educator. By measuring the teacher's range of competencies, this diagnostic serves as a device to capture data both before and after the instill education professional development intervention.

This tool is used at the end of the Instill Education training to gauge not only the facilitator's performance, but also the extent to which the educators themselves perceive their professional growth.
