English Language Webinar Project Manager

With the goal of reaching a national audience, and in response to a lackluster showing for in-person professional development sessions, in 2013 I launched a semester-long webinar series with A colleague and Fellow Peace Corps Volunteer. The following year we were honored to have the support of the Secretary of Education in Cartagena, and to train the new lead on our project in anticipation of the close of our service. 

In total, we facilitated 3 series over the course of 18 months, and worked with over 75 English language educators from across the country. Topics covered include: Classroom Management, Utilizing Guía 22, Content Based Instruction, Backwards Design, Assessment, Contextualization & ESP, Technology with Limited Resources, Involving Art & Creative Writing, and Project Based Learning.
